About Us

Shalom and welcome to Jewittogether, we're a growing initiative on a mission to celebrate the idea of Hiddur Mitzvah, bringing a fresh, DIY approach to Jewish traditions while coming together as a community to share, learn, and grow.

Our goal is to be a home for where creativity meets community in the vibrant tapestry of Jewish life and we're excited to have you join us on this journey!

If you are a creative creator and want to share your work, please be in touch, we’d love to find a way to showcase your talents!

Our Name:

We were inspired by the groundbreaking Jewish Catalogs created by the visionary Richard Siegel, Sharon Strassfeld, and Michael Strassfeld. The Catalogs were almost named Jew-it-Yourself before they settled on The Jewish Catalogs, a do-it-yourself kit.

When choosing a name, we almost went with Jew-it-yourself, but then realized, Jews aren’t meant to do things alone, they’re meant to do it together! The beauty of the internet is we can be separated geographically but still able to gather, collaborate, and share.

What We're Building:

  • Inspiration Hub: Dive into a growing collection of creative ideas and DIY projects that infuse Jewish traditions with your unique touch.

  • Community Corner: Be part of a tight-knit community that's just getting started. Share your projects, ideas, and connect with others who are exploring and celebrating Jewish culture in their own way.

  • Learning Cornerstone: Explore Jewish customs, rituals, and history through engaging content that makes learning a joyful experience.

Why Jewittogether:

Our vision is to create a space where Jewish traditions come alive through hands-on exploration. Just like the pioneering Jewish catalogs, Jewittogether aims to be a dynamic resource, constantly evolving and growing to meet the needs of our community.

Join Our Journey:

As we set out on this exciting adventure, we invite you to join us in making Jewittogether a vibrant hub of creativity and connection. Whether you're an experienced creator or a curious beginner, there's a place for you as we build something beautiful together.
